For some reason, I had to revisit this wallpaper. I was getting uncomfortable with how dark the previous texture looked, so I'm just giving it a new breath of life. I hope it looks even better now :)

Minor minor minor update. Basically I just smudged Urahara a bit to make him look more realistic.

[Update!]
Some people commented that Urahara looked too sketchy, so I've darkened him up a bit. Hopefully that works better :)

Also, I've changed the characters on the "seal" to the Kanji for "Kubo" (the surname of Bleach's mangaka for the uninitiated). I could have kicked myself for not thinking of him earlier (yes you can kick me too). He deserves all the credit for drawing that awesome Urahara!

Another Urahara wall! And my third wallpaper :)

I was just messing around with Illustrator when I realised that I could give images this "watercolour" look (sorry I'm still new at this ><) So I did another "parchment" wallpaper. Only this time round it's "Dampened, textured paper" according to ~bittered ([link]). I'm pretty happy with this one because I think it looks rather realistic. I'm not too sure about you so feel free to criticise if you think it doesn't XD

I had a hard time trying to decipher the Kanji in order to type out the words (I couldn't see the furigana clearly in the manga scan I had). So you better appreciate it hurhur...Just kidding XD The Chinese words in the "seal" is actually my Chinese name, so it's effectively my signature :)

The longer I look at your drawing, the more beautiful it becomes. I'm sure that you found the most important lines to characterize Urahara-san - drawn and spoken.

In small scale looks like calendar page ^^
In general - snug & comfortable impression. Fancy texture of course.
Face's line are a little circumflex, but with hieroglypfes match to them well.
Want more Urahara arts ^^

Thank you! I think the texture rocks too! Gotta hand it to ~bittered for doing that texture...I couldn't believe it was completely digitally done!
